himmel - editorial flatlays for perfect launch

summary

for himmel, we crafted an editorial-style flatlay system to launch their oversized kidswear with global flair.

about the project

himmel wasn’t just launching a new collection—they're introducing a new format of kidswear to india: oversized, thoughtfully designed garments with a global aesthetic.

our task was to present their sample sets with that same sense of clarity and elevation. the solution? a full-flatlay visual system that felt minimal, premium, and brand-forward.

how we did it

  • each piece was shot separately (top + bottom) to ensure ideal folds, alignment, and proportion

  • combinations were digitally composed in post, stitched for symmetry, balance, and styling integrity

  • we performed fine cleanup: removing loose threads, fixing label placement, and enhancing folds to feel soft yet structured

international cues, local execution, we designed the flatlays with:

  • clean spacing and neutral backdrops

  • soft-edged shadows to avoid harsh lighting

  • fabric drapes that felt effortless but intentional

challenges we overcame

  • small wrinkles or thread ends in embroidered samples

  • label positioning variances

  • aligning pieces proportionally despite size scale differences

deliverables preview

from stitching to styling, this wasn’t just a kidswear shoot—it was a precise flatlay system designed to reflect international design sensibilities.

"great output. exactly the way we envisioned."
