design objectives

Communicate premium care and botanical efficacy

  1. Achieve strong visual shelf appeal both online and offline

  2. Retain a distinctive, brand-forward system for scalability across SKUs

design process

1. Understanding the Brand

We began by unpacking FreshLuxe’s positioning—modern, ingredient-driven, and aspirational. The goal was to create a packaging identity that stood out in a crowded personal care space while reflecting quiet confidence and botanical efficacy.

2. Form & Material Alignment

A custom bottle form was chosen for its flat silhouette, curved corner signature, and logo emboss on the side. The label’s shape and layout were tailored to this geometry, creating a seamless object with strong on-shelf presence.

3. Visual Exploration

Multiple design directions were developed—ranging from minimal monochrome to expressive gradient systems. We explored typographic structures, layout rhythms, and grid-based compositions that could scale across product lines like shampoo, conditioner, and facewash.

4. Final Design & Refinement

The final label featured a vertical, iridescent logotype over a black, fine-line patterned background. Pastel tones highlighted product details, creating a layered but minimal composition. The typography, layout and color hierarchy were optimized for digital and physical visibility.

5. Print-Ready Execution

The approved design was translated into a print-ready output, complete with bleed, trim, and finish layers. Final files were handed off with production notes for CMYK output and optional foil application on the logotype.
